Sterling is a self-made man. That's a bit more literal in some universe's than others. No matter the time period, no matter the circumstances, he can always be found enjoying the finer things in life, and finding time to insult anyone who exists in opposition to it.

Though Sterling loves to present himself as a man whose very existence is perfectly in control, it sometimes takes very little to set him off. Prone to giving into his worse impulses, Sterling's rage ranges from verbal assault to outright murder.
